Course for Creative Management of Monuments in Modena
TRANSROMANICA and CrossCulTour offer even more possibilities to qualify in the field of cultural management.
What is Romanesque art about? Which cultural activities can be organised in a monument? Why does the Council of Europe give the title "Major Cultural Route" to networks like TRANSROMANICA? How to compose a business plan and cooperate with tourist agencies?
These and many more questions were answered in the course of "Creative Management of Monuments" which was held in Modena, Italy, from March to June 2010. 40 students - most of them postgraduates in history of art or architecture - attended the course of 82 hours, organised by the Province of Modena within the EU-project CrossCulTour.
The course gave young postgraduates the chance to broaden their horizon with relevant topics related to Romanesque heritage: cultural animation, marketing, networking, tourism, enogastronomy as well as guided visits of the Romanesque churches in the surroundings of Modena were on the agenda.
